The Colorado Groundwater Association is one of several organizations that will join in Girl Scout Day at Dinosaur Ridge to teach Scouts about geology, paleontology, and careers in the sciences. Volunteers will use our physical groundwater model to show participants how water flows through aquifers and into wells and streams. This is a fun and very rewarding activity with lots of interested future scientists!
We need volunteers for two shifts. Girl Scout Day will be held at Dinosaur Ridge at 16831 W. Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO on Saturday, October 13 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Set-up will be from 9:00-9:30am and tear-down will be from 2:30-3:00 pm. Volunteers are needed for both the morning and/or afternoon shifts. Shifts change at 12:00 and lunch is provided for all volunteers.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to volunteer.
