SCOUT DAYS AT DINOSAUR RIDGE - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The Colorado Groundwater Association is one of several organizations that will join in Scout Day and Girl Scout Day at Dinosaur Ridge to teach Scouts about geology, paleontology, and careers in the sciences. Volunteers will use our physical groundwater model to show participants how water flows through aquifers and into wells and streams as well as ideas on how to conserve water in the home. This is a fun and very rewarding opportunity to influence lots of interested future scientists!

We still need volunteers for both AM and PM shifts for both events. The booth works best with at least 2 volunteers per shift, so we are looking for at least 2 more volunteers. Please email Ashley Lennon (ashley.lennon@state.co.us) if you would like to volunteer!

Scout Day (Formerly Boy Scout Day) will be held at Dinosaur Ridge at 16831 W. Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO on Saturday, September 28 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Girl Scout Day will be held at Dinosaur Ridge at 16831 W. Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO on Saturday, October 19 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Set-up will be from 8:15-9:00am and tear-down will be from 3:00-3:30 pm. Volunteers are needed for both the morning and/or afternoon shifts. Shifts change at 12:00 and lunch is provided for all volunteers.
